TUSCANY WEEK

I have had many requests to start offering Culinary Getaways to Italy. I am happy to announce that I will be adding at least one trip to Tuscany to the schedule for 2009. I am still completing the research and getting the activities lined up. During our week, we will stay in a lovely villa in the Tuscan countryside and explore the culinary, cultural and historical treasures of the region. We will visit towns such as Florence and Siena and smaller villages such as San Gimignano. We will cook together with Italian chefs, explore the regional cuisine in local restaurants and in private settings, visit the markets and taste olive oils, balsamic vinegars, hams and cheeses.
