I've never taken a cooking class before. Is this course going to be too difficult for me?

No. Our courses are specially designed with the home cook in mind and are suitable for any skill level.

I love to cook but my husband doesn't really want to take the course. Can he participate in meals without being in the classes?

Yes, there will be an opportunity for the partner to participate in the welcome dinner and in the restaurant meals. Cost for the restaurant meals will be worked out afterward.

What other activities are available to do before classes begin or for my spouse who is not participating in the classes?

Napa has so much to offer. There is biking, golfing, shopping, spas and much more. Also, "Napa Stories" by Michael Chiarello has recipes, insights into Napa and great stories about its residents.

A group of my friends is thinking of booking a class together. Is there any group discount?

This will be determined based on the size of the group and on the events chosen.

Can a group of friends book out a private day, weekend or week class with Sherry?

Absolutely! We will tailor the event to the group's preferences. We can do things like focus on certain techniques like roasting or grilling, or on regional cuisines like French, Italian or Southern. We love to customize personal classes and will work with you to ensure a tailor-made visit.

What is the cancellation policy if I am unable to come at the last minute?

Cancellations made 60 days or more in advance will receive a full refund. For cancellations made within 60 days of the class date, we will make every attempt to reschedule you in a later class. Unfortunately, there are no refunds for cancellations made within 60 days of the class date. In the event that "Culinary Getaways" must cancel for any reason, all fees, including deposits, will be returned in full. The costs of any travel arrangements you may have made will not be reimbursed.
